Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks Online only
Detailed general ledger accounting and account reconciliation, including bank reconciliation and account analysis
Reconcile balance sheets and perform month-end closing procedures
Ability to create and maintain high quality workpapers. This is one of the most important aspects that separates public accounting from other firms
Qualification
Required
Proven experience with QuickBooks Online
Strong knowledge of accounting principles including GAAP, double-entry bookkeeping, and Balance Sheet Accounting
Experience with bank reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis
Ability to create and maintain high quality workpapers
Preferred
Public accounting experience working with multiple clients at one time
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting/finance/business
Active QuickBooks online experience and full general ledger accounting knowledge
