Sales Director, North America – Residential & C&I Energy Storage
LEADHIRE is a company focused on energy solutions, and they are seeking a Sales Director for North America to develop and execute sales strategies for residential and C&I energy storage. Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for residential and C&I energy storage across North America
Build and manage a network of distribution partners, EPCs, solar installers, and OEMs
Drive new customer acquisition while deepening relationships with existing partners
Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and technical support teams to tailor solutions to local market needs
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments (e.g., IRA incentives, UL9540, NEC)
Achieve aggressive sales targets and expand Deye’s market share in the U.S. and Canadian energy storage sectors
Provide input on product localization, pricing, and go-to-market requirements
Qualification
Required
8+ years of sales leadership experience in energy storage, solar + storage, or power electronics, with proven success in North America
Deep understanding of residential and C&I energy storage markets, including value chains, key players, and certification requirements (UL9540, IEEE 1547, etc.)
Strong network with distributors, EPCs, installers, or utility-scale developers in the U.S. and/or Canada
Willingness to travel frequently across North America
Preferred
Experience working with Chinese-headquartered companies or cross-cultural teams is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
