Recruiter / HR Assistant

They are seeking a dedicated Recruiter / HR Assistant to coordinate hiring efforts for their manufacturing plant, overseeing the recruitment process from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain staffing plans in collaboration with the plant manager to meet hiring needs
Source candidates for various roles within the structural plant, ensuring alignment with job requirements
Build and manage relationships with staffing agencies, including evaluating their performance and providing feedback
Oversee the recruitment funnel for open positions, including scheduling interviews and assessing candidate qualifications
Prepare and communicate job offers, coordinate orientation schedules, and manage onboarding processes
Ensure timely updates on candidate status and minimize delays in hiring and onboarding
Streamline recruitment processes to optimize efficiency and improve the candidate experience
Handle all communication with candidates, from initial contact to final disposition
Assist the Human Resources Manager with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed
Support training initiatives and provide one-on-one or group training sessions

Required

At least 3 years of experience in recruiting or human resources, with a preference for recruiting expertise
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to connecting and communicating efficiently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software applications
Demonstrated ability to teach and train individuals or groups
Experience with applicant tracking systems and full-cycle recruiting processes

Preferred

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred
Supervisory experience or training is highly desired
