Responsibilities
Provides interpretations and conclusions from data, develops technical documentation, and gives technical guidance to lower-level engineers and technicians
Prepares job cost estimates, pole bore details, NJUNS forms, and any other required documents and reports for construction and maintenance projects
Promotes a safe and inclusive work environment
Maintains and organizes engineering documentation, including technical drawings, reports, and project files
Prepares and distributes meeting agendas, minutes, and action item trackers
Assists in the creation and submission of Shopping Carts, review of Purchase Order (PO) documents for engineering-related materials and services
Monitors the status of POs to ensure timely approvals and delivery of goods/services
Liaises with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or delays in procurement
Compiles and updates engineering metrics, cost reports, and inventory records
Maintains Shopping Cart reporting data
Ensures adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Assists in preparing documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Engineering required
0 - 5 years of experience in engineering studies and analysis, applying engineering-related disciplines to solve moderate difficulty assignments
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with engineering terminology and processes is a plus
