As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize data infrastructure and ETL pipelines for enterprise clients while collaborating with cross-functional teams and working with cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/data pipelines using Python and PySpark
Design and implement data integration workflows across Databricks, Azure Data Services, Snowflake, and other relational/cloud databases
Write, tune, and optimize SQL queries for analytics and reporting
Gather requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders to build scalable solutions
Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data strategy, architecture, and pipeline optimization
Build and maintain data orchestration processes using tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Azure Data Factory
Create dashboards, metrics, and reports to provide actionable insights for clients
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and best practices for data engineering and analytics
Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement across client projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
4+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL, or analytics
Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark, Informatica, or similar tools
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and cloud databases
Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Services, Snowflake, or Redshift
Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and pipeline design
Experience with test-driven development and data quality validation
Familiarity with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Autosys, Control M)
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present insights to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently in a contract-based, project-driven environment
Preferred
Experience leading or mentoring junior Data Engineers
Knowledge of API development/consumption for batch or streaming data pipelines
Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing analytics platforms
Command-line interface experience for deployment and automation
Data visualization experience using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent
Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
Cloud experience on AWS or GCP in addition to Azure
