This key executive will oversee company-wide strategic planning, business portfolio optimization, and major growth initiatives, ensuring actionable and measurable plans are in place.

Responsibilities
Leading the company's medium-to-long-term development strategy (3–5 years) and annual strategic planning
Analyzing macroeconomic trends, industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological changes
Providing the Board of Directors and CEO with strategic options, scenario analysis, and decision-making recommendations
Translating company strategy into clear strategic objectives, key initiatives, and roadmaps
Coordinating with various business units and functional departments to ensure strategic alignment
Establishing a strategic execution tracking and evaluation mechanism to ensure strategy progresses as planned
Evaluating and optimizing the company's business portfolio
Identifying new businesses, new markets, new business models, and growth opportunities
Supporting business entry, exit, restructuring, or scaling decisions
Participating in the preliminary strategic assessment of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic investments, and joint ventures
Supporting business due diligence, synergy analysis, and strategic integration planning
Overseeing major strategic projects and cross-departmental transformation projects
Working closely with business leaders and functional executives to drive strategic consensus
Regularly reporting strategic progress and key risks to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors
Acting as an organizer and coordinator of strategic issues to improve the efficiency of high-level decision-making
Establishing a strategic analysis and business insight framework (market, competition, financial models)
Defining and monitoring strategic KPIs, including:
Strategic objective achievement rate
Business growth contribution
Return on investment (ROI)
Continuously optimizing strategic assumptions and execution paths based on data
Establishing and leading a strategic planning team or corporate strategy department
Enhancing the organization's strategic thinking, long-term planning, and cross-departmental collaboration capabilities
Promoting a strategic-oriented and results-oriented culture within the company
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
15-20+ years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, corporate development, or related fields
At least 10 years of experience in senior management or high-potential leadership positions
Excellent strategic thinking and systematic analytical skills
Strong business acumen and problem structuring abilities
Outstanding executive communication and influencing skills
Ability to coordinate across departments and drive complex initiatives
Ability to maintain clear decision-making in highly uncertain environments
Preferred
MBA/EMBA or relevant strategic management education
Experience in cross-business line, cross-regional, or group-level strategy
