Mid, Senior LevelLedger IQ is rebuilding trial balance–to–tax prep from the ground up, and they are seeking experienced CPAs or EAs to act as Contract CPA Advisors. This role focuses on testing, feedback, and providing real-world insights to help shape the product for accountants.

Responsibilities
Test Ledger IQ features and workflows
Review outputs such as trial balances, reports, and categorizations
Provide practical feedback based on real client work
Help ensure the product aligns with how firms actually operate during tax season and beyond
Test new Ledger IQ features using sample or anonymized data
Identify gaps, edge cases, or friction in accounting workflows
Share insights from real-world business tax prep experience
Provide feedback on reporting accuracy, usability, and logic
Participate in occasional feedback calls or async reviews
Qualification
Required
Experienced CPAs or EAs with business tax prep experience
Strong experience with business tax returns (1065, 1120S, 1120)
Solid understanding of bookkeeping, trial balances, and financial reporting
Experience with tools like QuickBooks, Xero, or similar
Comfortable giving candid, constructive feedback
Interest in how AI can (actually) help accountants, not replace them
Preferred
CPA or EA preferred
