"Amplify" Development Manager
Maestra Music, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women and gender-expansive musicians in the musical theatre industry. The Amplify Development Manager is responsible for managing all revenue-generating and donor-facing components of the Amplify event, ensuring its financial and logistical success.
Responsibilities
Coordinate all ticket sales, including setup, interface management, troubleshooting, and ongoing upkeep
Manage table sales and premium seating coordination
Track and reconcile all event revenue, including ticketing, sponsorships, advertisements, auctions, and donations
Oversee corporate sponsorships and partnerships, including benefit fulfillment and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
Track, document, and acknowledge in-kind donations; and
Support in-room calls to action, including donation moments, auctions, and live fundraising components
Manage ad sales for the Amplify Playbill and ensure timely collection of assets
Coordinate development of the Amplify Lookbook in collaboration with marketing and design partners; and
Ensure sponsor acknowledgments are accurate and aligned across print, digital, and live materials
Maintain the master attendee list, including donors, sponsors, guests, and performers (as applicable)
Develop and distribute donor- and guest-facing communications, including 'Know Before You Go' emails
Oversee seating charts, table assignments, and coordination with production and front-of-house teams; and
Support check-in, greeting, and donor stewardship on the day of the event
Coordinate auction logistics, item tracking, winner follow-up, and fulfillment
Ensure timely acknowledgments, receipts, and post-event communications to donors and sponsors; and
Support internal reconciliation and reporting following the event
Work in close partnership with Maestra’s internal development, operations, marketing, and leadership teams
Coordinate regularly with the Event Producer and production partners to ensure alignment between fundraising goals and event execution; and
Participate in scheduled planning meetings and meet key milestones throughout the Amplify 2026 cycle
Qualification
Required
Significant relationships in the New York theatre community
5+ years of experience in development, fundraising, or event-based revenue roles, preferably in nonprofit or arts organizations
Demonstrated experience managing ticketing platforms, donor databases, or CRM systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in donor-facing contexts
High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple timelines simultaneously
Comfort working collaboratively across departments and with external vendors
Familiarity with sponsorship fulfillment, event revenue tracking, and donor stewardship best practices
Preferred

Strong sense of discretion and professionalism when working with donors and high-profile partners
