Senior LevelCreston Games is an independent game studio dedicated to crafting unique multiplayer experiences that bring players together. They are seeking a Senior Level Designer to design, build, and iterate on gameplay spaces that support the game’s core mechanics and co-op systems.

Responsibilities
Design and build playable levels and locations that support co-op gameplay and player interaction
Define player flow, navigation, pacing, and spatial challenges within semi-open environments
Block out, iterate, and polish levels directly in Unity
Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and programmers to align levels with gameplay systems and visual direction
Ensure levels are readable, intuitive, and fun while supporting performance constraints
Iterate on levels based on playtests, feedback, and design goals
Contribute ideas to improve level design workflows and best practices
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Level Designer on shipped or in-development games
Strong portfolio showcasing level design work (blockouts, layouts, gameplay spaces etc.)
Solid understanding of level design fundamentals (player flow, readability, pacing, risk/reward)
Experience designing for co-op or multiplayer gameplay
Proficiency with Unity game engine
Ability to work independently in a remote team environment
Strong problem-solving skills and gameplay-focused design thinking
Preferred
Experience with semi-open world levels
Familiarity with environmental storytelling
Basic scripting or logic experience for gameplay setup
Prior experience working in remote or indie teams
