Required

Earned terminal degree (Ed.D. or Ph.D.) in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a closely related field with 18 graduate semester hours in Elementary Education by August 1, 2026
Minimum of 18 graduate hours (content and/or pedagogy) in a content area (ELA, mathematics, science, or social studies)
Minimum of three years of full-time teaching experience in U.S. public school settings, teaching students in grades P-12
Experience supervising pre-service student teacher candidates and/or practicum students
Experience teaching face-to-face and/or online education courses at the university level
Ability and willingness to teach both online and face-to-face courses
Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives
Commitment to engaging with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development
Demonstrated commitment to advancing a strong and growing research and scholarship agenda and the production of research/creative activities as appropriate to the discipline

Preferred

Experience teaching in grades P-8, especially P-5, in a U.S. public school setting
Experience supervising pre-service student teacher candidates and/or practicum students in P-5 field placements as a university or clinical supervisor (online and/or face-to-face)
Experience developing online education courses at the university level
