Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in introductory and advanced research methods
Supervise graduate student research as a member of Ed.S. and Ed.D. committees
Engage in productive scholarship in the discipline
Provide service at all levels of the university and to the profession

Required

Earned doctorate in Educational Research, or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Educational Research, by August 1, 2026
Coursework in and experience with research methods with a specialization in one or more of the following areas: quantitative methods/statistics, qualitative research, or mixed methods research
Willingness to teach online courses
Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring graduate student research
Commitment to using technology in teaching and scholarship
Evidence of an emerging research agenda
Potential for securing extramural funding for research and/or training
Demonstrated commitment to advancing a strong and growing research and scholarship agenda and the production of research/creative activities as appropriate to the discipline
Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives
Commitment to engaging with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development
Ability to contribute to a positive work environment in the department, college, and university

Preferred

Teaching experience in higher education
Experience with online learning as instructor or student
