Bookkeeper (Cross Boarder)
Pennine Security Solutions is a privately held company with over 20 years of international security expertise, dedicated to serving Ontario and Florida. They are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to support their team by managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and vendor statements
Enter, review, and maintain financial transactions in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Enterprise
Assist with month-end reporting and financial summaries
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and documentation
Ensure all bills are paid accurately and on time
Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders as needed
Assist management with ad-hoc financial tasks
Qualification
Required
5+ years of bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Enterprise is mandatory
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
High level of professionalism and reliability
Proficiency in Financial Statements preparation and analysis
Ability to accurately record Journal Entries and review financial records
Have a good understanding of budgets and financial restraints
Have a basic understanding of taxes for Florida and Ontario. Other States and Provinces will be added in the future
