Responsibilities
Works with stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features
Contributes to identifying dependencies and developing design documents for a product area with minimal oversight
Creates and implements code for a product, service, or feature, reusing code where applicable
Contributes to breaking down larger work items into smaller tasks and provides estimates
Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), participating in on‑call rotations to monitor systems, products, features, or services for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, and initiates actions to restore service for straightforward issues
Remains current in skills by investing time in learning developments that improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance, while driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python OR equivalent experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python OR equivalent experience
