Mid LevelFull Cycle Bookkeeping is a growing bookkeeping services firm seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage multiple client accounts across various industries. This role requires strong technical accounting skills and exceptional organization to deliver accurate financial reporting to clients.
Accounting
Responsibilities
Manage bookkeeping for multiple clients simultaneously
Maintain strict confidentiality and data security
Maintain general ledger for each client
Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Categorize transactions accurately across client accounts
Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Handle journal entries and adjusting entries
Process payroll for multiple clients
Manage payroll taxes and filings
Prepare and file sales/use tax where applicable
Track and maintain compliance deadlines per client
Perform month-end and year-end closings
Prepare management reports and dashboards
Support client CPAs during tax preparation and audits
Assist with budgeting and cash flow forecasting
Maintain clean, audit-ready books
Standardized workflows and documentation
Implement best practices across client portfolios
Identify and resolve errors, inefficiencies, and discrepancies
Qualification
Required
Relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience
Experience managing multiple client books simultaneously
Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online (or equivalent)
Solid understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
Payroll and sales tax experience
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas, filters, and data organization
Preferred
Prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounting firm
Experience with multiple industries (professional services, real estate, e-commerce, etc.)
Familiarity with tools like QuickBooks, Gusto, ADP, Bill.com, Hubdoc, Dext, Receipt Bank
Bachelor's or associate degree in accounting
Remote client service experience
