InternDenori Designs is a boutique hospitality-focused interior design firm specializing in short-term rentals and boutique hotels. They are seeking an Interior Design Intern who will gain real-world experience in hospitality design by supporting projects from concept through install and working closely with the design team.
Architecture & Planning
Responsibilities
Sourcing furniture, lighting, finishes, and décor for hospitality projects
Assisting with space planning and furniture layouts
Creating design boards and client presentations
Developing layouts, elevations, and drawings
Supporting photorealistic renderings and visualizations
Participating in design concept development and design revisions
Assisting with re-selections and value engineering when needed
Supporting procurement, order tracking, and install coordination
Helping prepare install guides and placement plans
Assisting with site install preparation and remote coordination
Organizing project assets, specifications, and documentation
Supporting marketing efforts by helping prepare project visuals, behind-the-scenes content, and design narratives for social media, the website, and presentations
Assisting with portfolio organization and case study development
Exposure to client communication, proposals, and internal studio workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
Portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals and visual storytelling
Proficiency in Canva
Experience with DesignFiles (or similar design presentation software)
Working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or similar modeling software
Familiarity with rendering tools such as Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion, or similar
Comfort using Google Drive, Sheets, and Docs
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
Willingness to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment
Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Interest in hospitality design, short-term rentals, or boutique hotels
Preferred
Experience with procurement or install support is a plus, but not required
Familiarity with FF&E specifications and schedules is a plus, but not required
