Responsibilities
Working initially with a project team and transitioning to a manufacturing plant operating team after commissioning the new equipment and plant
Coordinating and instructing user acceptance testing procedures with both functional analysts in the production systems team and end users of developed solutions
Participating with other disciplines in continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring compliance with standards of safety and quality
Forming strong and effective relationships with colleagues in related functional areas

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering
3 years of experience with the following: Network design, Handling and programming of network switches, Handling of servers and virtualizing tools
Knowledge with relational databases (Oracle or SQL Server preferred)
Capable of analyzing technical information and quickly learning new technical skills
Intermediate to proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
Familiar with handling of server communication
Commitment to adhere to all safety and environmental standards and guidelines
Hardware handling in an industrial environment
Strong problem-solving skills within a structure
Structured and attentive to details
Capable of striving for and celebrating team successes
Strong work ethic
Dependable, reliable
Consistent and moderate temperament
Preferred
Steel manufacturing experience is preferred with emphasis on high temperature furnaces
Experience with international quality and safety standards
