Technical Account Manager
MLTS/USA, LLC is seeking a Technical Account Manager who will combine technical pre-sales, solution leadership, and new-client acquisition. The role involves leading technical discovery sessions, shaping solutions, and collaborating with sales and delivery teams to convert opportunities into long-term programs.
Responsibilities
Drive net-new customer acquisition across Manufacturing, Mobility, and Healthcare verticals
Build a strong early-stage pipeline through proactive outreach, ecosystem partners, and targeted GTM plays
Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover engineering, data, cloud, and IoT needs
Own technical qualification for RFPs, workshops, PoCs, and pilot engagements
Position MTSL’s end-to-end capabilities, including:
Digital Engineering (CAD/CAE/Validation, mechanical design, E/E systems)
Embedded systems and Infotainment
Data Engineering, BI/Analytics, AI/ML
Cloud Migration & Application Modernization
IoT, Connectivity, Telematics
Engineering pods, staff augmentation & ODC models
Translate business pain points into actionable solution architectures
Work with global engineering teams (Chennai, Noida, US) to define SoWs, estimates, and delivery models
Run demos, deep-dive sessions, and solution walkthroughs with client technology teams
Ensure proposed solutions align to technical environments, budgets, and long-term outcomes
Support smooth handoff to Delivery & Customer Success teams while remaining the technical advisor
Identify expansion opportunities across engineering, data, cloud, and IoT solutions
Work with AWS, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, and other partners to secure co-sell and joint solution opportunities
Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Engineering, HR, and Finance across U.S. and India teams
Provide on-the-ground insights to refine offerings, pricing, and GTM strategy
Qualification
Required
Experience in two or more of the following is ideal: Digital Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / CAD & CAE, Embedded systems / Infotainment / Telematics, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Data Engineering, BI, Analytics, AI/ML, IoT, Mobility, Connected Devices, Application modernization or software engineering
Proven track record in acquiring new logos or technical pre-sales responsibility
Ability to lead technical discovery, solution shaping, and proposal development
Comfortable engaging engineering leaders, CIO/CTO, VP of Product, and Procurement
Strong negotiation, objection handling, and value-based consultative selling skills
Executive presence with the ability to simplify complex concepts
High sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership
Excellent communication—written, verbal, and interpersonal
Thrives in a fast-moving, global, matrixed environment
Preferred
5–12 years in Technical Account Management, Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or similar
Experience in Engineering Services, Digital Transformation, or Global Delivery models strongly preferred
Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical background
AWS/Azure/GCP certifications a plus
