Social Media Intern
What's The Word (WTW) is a creative media platform dedicated to amplifying Christian artists across various genres. As a Social Media Intern, you’ll help shape WTW’s voice across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, engaging audiences and highlighting Christian artists through creative storytelling.

Responsibilities
Review recorded video content (interviews, discussions, or music features) and edit footage into long-form and short-form videos for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
Select engaging moments, add captions, transitions, and audio enhancements to create shareable clips
Manage upload-ready files and assist with scheduling posts through social media tools
Collaborate with the founder on creative direction and storytelling style to align with WtW’s mission and tone, helping to maintain visual and brand consistency across all content
Research trending audio, hashtags, and design ideas aligned with faith-based music culture
Engage with our audience — comment, share, and grow brand visibility
Qualification
Required
Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and content scheduling tools
Strong writing and communication skills to create impactful messaging and foster audience interaction
Creative mindset and ability to adapt to current trends and platform developments
Reliable, organized, and able to meet weekly goals
Preferred
Basic skills in Canva, CapCut, and Adobe Creative Suite (helpful but not required)
Experience with analytics tools and performance tracking is a plus
A passion for storytelling, faith, and music is highly desirable
Bonus: Photography/videography, video editing, or brand strategy experience
