Responsibilities
Develop and support individualized service plans tailored to learning support plans
Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations
Utilize research-based strategies to support students with learning disabilities, emotional challenges, and developmental delays
Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement and spiritual growth
Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure students receive appropriate support
Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations and adjust instruction accordingly
Participate in professional development, school meetings, and faith-based activities
Maintain accurate documentation and records of student progress and services provided
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education or a related field
Valid state teaching certification, certification in Special Education preferred
Experience working with students with disabilities
Strong understanding of learning disabilities, assessment tools intervention strategies, and instructional best practices
IEP development, differentiated instruction, and behavioral interventions
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to the mission and values of the school
