Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join their DCT Operations team as an Office Administrative Specialist, providing a wide range of administrative and office support functions.

Responsibilities

Provide clerical support to the DCT Vadnais Heights administrative office, so that the needs of the office are met
Provide clerical support to DCT Administrative Office Leadership so that services are provided
Provide administrative assistance to the DCT managers, directors and supervisors, so they have the information necessary to aid them in their responsibilities and to create an effective communication link within Direct Care and Treatment
Follow fiscal management processes of the organization using statewide accounting principles so that supplies and equipment are readily available, services are not interrupted and DCT staff have all the necessary support
Provide administrative, clerical and coordination support to a variety of committees and projects groups, so those members/committees can be more successful in completing their assignments

Required

Customer services skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information in person, on the phone, in writing, and/or online to internal and external clients
Data entry skills sufficient to enter information into various databases and computer programs
Accounting/Budgeting/Expense skills sufficient to complete orders and track expenses
Typing/Keyboarding skills to have accuracy when sending communications and entering data
Word processing is sufficient to prepare, edit, and finalize emails, reports, meeting minutes and/or other documents and types of written communication that are grammatically correct, in proper format, and free of spelling errors
Database Management skills sufficient to set up meetings and manage multiple Outlook calendars

Preferred

Computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Scheduling and other software programs
Business English, spelling, grammar and typing sufficient to edit and compose a variety of documents
Office practices and equipment sufficient to develop and improve work procedures
Strong interpersonal communication skills are crucial in this position to direct customer service relationships
Preferred candidates will have a variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures
