Responsibilities
Monitors the payment status of customers’ accounts and collection of delinquent accounts receivable
Works with customers to make appropriate payment arrangements with management approval
Prepares collections report detailing delinquent customers, identify trends of possible credit risks and effectively communicating information to internal and external customers; and provide other accounting reports and projects as needed
Recommends accounts for 3rd Party Pursuit
Achieves individual, department and company objectives with regard to cash collection
Qualification
Required
Competent with Microsoft Suite of Tools: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Credit & Commercial laws
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act
Tactful dealing with internal sales reps as well as external customers
Solid organization, analytical, negotiation and excellent professional verbal and written communications skills
Team player with professional disposition, and positive creative problem-solving attitude
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or related fields
Preferred
Knowledge of SAP preferred
3+ years of work experience in collections or accounting preferred
