20+ years expGenZ Vault Wallet is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Investments who will be a key member of the strategic hub and capital allocation core team. This role involves identifying, designing, and executing investment and M&A projects aligned with the company's long-term strategy to drive business growth and value creation.

Responsibilities
Participate in and drive the group's medium- and long-term development strategy, industry layout, and capital path design
Build the group's strategic investment map (Investment Thesis), clarifying: Core sectors, Key technologies/capabilities, Geographic and industry priorities
Break down the group's strategy into actionable investment themes, M&A directions, and cooperation models
Lead or deeply participate in the following types of projects: Strategic M&A (controlling stake / wholly owned), Strategic minority equity investments, Joint ventures (JV), Industry alliances and capital cooperation
Responsible for the entire process: Project screening and initiation, Business and strategic due diligence, Financial modeling and valuation analysis, Investment plan and transaction structure design, Preparation and presentation of materials for the Investment Committee, Transaction negotiation and closing support
Establish and lead post-investment management and synergy mechanisms to ensure investment value realization: Implementation of strategic synergies (channels, technology, supply chain, customers), Improvement of key performance indicators (KPI / EBITDA / ROIC)
Participate in or lead: Board governance, Management incentive and assessment mechanism design, Major operational and capital decisions, Develop restructuring, exit, or remediation plans for underperforming projects
Design and execute diversified exit paths: IPO, Trade Sale, Buyback / Restructuring, Evaluate the capital market environment and optimize exit timing and valuation, Collaborate with external institutions such as finance, legal, investment banks, and PE/FA firms
Deep collaboration with the following departments: Strategy, business lines, finance, legal, risk control, technology
Establish and maintain a high-quality external network: Investment institutions, PE/VC, investment banks, Industry partners, entrepreneurs, Government and industrial parks
Build and manage a high-level strategic investment team, Establish standardized systems: Investment process, Decision-making mechanism, Risk management framework, Post-investment management templates, Cultivate versatile investment and industry talents
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Management, Engineering, or a related field
20+ years of relevant experience from one or a combination of the following backgrounds: Strategic Investment / Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity / Industry Funds, Investment Banking / Strategic Consulting, Strategic or Capital Operations departments of large corporations
Proven track record of successfully completed M&A or strategic investment deals
Strong strategic thinking + strong execution capabilities
Proficient in: Investment analysis, Financial modeling, Valuation and transaction structuring
Deep understanding of the industry, able to 'understand the business, analyze the financials, and close the deal'
Excellent negotiation and board communication skills
High stress tolerance and ability to make critical decisions in uncertain environments
