Responsibilities
Review and evaluate AI-generated responses to engineering-related questions for technical accuracy, logical reasoning, and completeness
Create and refine prompts that guide AI behavior in engineering scenarios
Verify technical claims using domain knowledge and publicly available, authoritative sources
Identify strengths, gaps, and errors in model outputs and provide structured, written feedback
Assess clarity, organization, and suitability of explanations for different audiences
Apply defined evaluation standards, benchmarks, and guidelines consistently across all tasks
Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree in engineering or a closely related technical discipline
Expertise in one or more engineering domains, such as mechanical, electrical, computer, chemical, materials, civil, or environmental engineering
Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
Experience reviewing, editing, or evaluating technical or academic material
High attention to detail and analytical accuracy
Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment
Legally authorized to perform contract work from your location
Preferred
Experience with applied research, systems design, or industry engineering workflows
Familiarity with AI model evaluation, data annotation, or human-in-the-loop review processes
Experience teaching, mentoring, or communicating technical topics to non-expert audiences
Familiarity with structured evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, or quality rubrics
