Responsibilities
Design automatic sprinkler systems using AutoSPRINK and other design software
Plan, organize, and execute projects in conjunction with a Project Manager
Conduct on-site field surveys
Generate hydraulic calculations
Submit drawings to obtain required building permits
Coordinate 3D models
Prepare bill of materials for fabrication
Ensure projects adhere to the proposed timeline
Prepare project close-out, operation, and maintenance documents
Qualification
Required
Construction knowledge/experiences
Design/drafting experiences
Construction degree in a related program
Proficient in CAD software
Mathematically and technically inclined to learn industry-specific software and codes
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge
Ability to execute tasks with a great amount of detail
Prior experience designing fire protection systems
Hold a NICET certification
