Supply Chain & Procurement Intern
Responsibilities
You’ll be exposed to multiple aspects of the Procurement/Sourcing process at Progressive
You’ll develop an understanding of Progressive’s Purchase to Pay Process and Category/Commodity Management
Some aspects of Category Management will include networking with various business stakeholders and fellow sourcing professionals, creating and analyzing data, and sharing what you learned with team members and leaders
Qualification
Required
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher and actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Management Consulting, Organization and Management, Public Relations, Accounting, Finance, Financial, Marketing, Media Sciences, Advertising, Economics, Communication, Sales, Actuarial, Management Information Systems, Risk Management, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Accountancy, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics and Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Quantitative Sciences or Industrial Engineering in which you'll meet the minimum requirements for a full-time role within 12 months of successful completion of this internship
Listening, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a detailed-oriented and organized environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Ability to be adaptable and have intellectual curiosity
