Sales Operations Coordinator

The Sales Operations Coordinator will support the sales organization by managing key processes, data, and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring smooth operations across various departments.

Nutrition

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day sales operations to ensure achievement of company and departmental objectives
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to support key sales initiatives, managing timelines and deliverables
Manage merchandising calendars, intake forms, and related documentation; ensure deadlines are met for resets, promotions, and retailer requests
Maintain and update SOPs and merchandising best-practice documentation
Support retailer-specific requirements and merchandising guidelines, including retailer portals, data submissions, and compliance for SKU and account setup
Serve as a liaison between internal teams and retail partners; maintain trackers for assortments, resets, pricing, and store execution
Own and support product content management in Salsify, ensuring accurate, complete, and retailer-ready product data across all channels
Coordinate product setup and new retailer onboarding, including completion of item setup paperwork and maintenance of the central product attribute sheet
Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing by retailer is maintained, communicated, and updated as needed
Align with Operations and Supply Chain on inventory availability, ship dates, launches, and key initiatives to support sales needs
Support sales preparation for customer visits and business reviews, including follow-up actions and documentation
Assist with trade shows, key customer meetings, and events, including sample ordering and coordination
Maintain and organize all customer documentation and account files to ensure accuracy and easy access
Troubleshoot and resolve operational bottlenecks (e.g., pricing discrepancies, form submissions, customer requests) by coordinating across teams
Work closely with the Sales Operations Manager to support new business development projects, timelines, and execution

Required

3+ years of experience in sales operations, merchandising operations, or a related role in the CPG space, required
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Strong sense of urgency with an understanding of the 'speed of business' in CPG
Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership beyond a defined task list
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to clear, timely, and proactive stakeholder communication
Strong technical aptitude; proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, with confidence using business platforms such as Outlook, shared drives, Slack, and similar tools
Self-directed and able to work independently while meeting tight deadlines and adapting to shifting priorities
Solutions-oriented problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting and seeing challenges through from start to finish
Collaborative, positive team player who builds strong relationships across Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Product Development, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and external partners
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to translate insights and learnings into action
