State Prog Admin Sr; Administrative Compliance Monitor

Responsibilities

Provide oversight to the Weatherization Assistance Program Service Providers (WAP subgrantees) through administrative and fiscal monitoring and technical assistance following U.S. Department of Energy, Minnesota Weatherization Assistance Program Policy, state statutory and programmatic guidelines
Assist with specific grant administration and program development projects as directed

Required

Two (2) years of experience performing analysis, exercising judgment, and relying on knowledge in compliance monitoring, program or grant management
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is equivalent to one (1) year of experience
An Advanced degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is equivalent to eighteen (18) months of experience
Strong demonstratable written and verbal communication skills
Customer Service skills sufficient to interact with a diverse group of individuals
Experience communicating/presenting (including in writing) ideas through compliance, monitoring, program, or grant management
Experience working with State, Federal, and/or local government funded programs

Preferred

Bachelor's degree
Experience with energy conservation, building science, or the Weatherization Assistance Program
Ability to understand complex policy well enough to apply in real-world situations and explain applications effectively
Inter-personal skill sufficient to build relationships and manage difficult conversations with Service Providers (monitorees), co-workers, and leadership
