Customer Care and Billing Representative

Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Customer Care and Billing Representative. The role involves assisting in the accurate billing of energy accounts, providing excellent customer service to member-owners, and interpreting cooperative policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist in the accurate and timely billing of the Cooperative’s Energy Accounts Receivable and processing of billing transactions
To provide excellent customer service to our current and future member-owners
To effectively interpret the Cooperative’s policies, rates, billing procedures and related information to our member-owners
To assist with other administrative and/or clerical functions as determined necessary

Qualification

Required

Strong communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and manage tasks with unlimited interruptions
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Gain full knowledge of the Cooperative's fully integrated software system
Pre-employment drug test required

Preferred

Post high school education in accounting or business
Two to three years of general office experience
