Responsibilities
Strategic Research: Plan and execute multi-phase research roadmaps that inform product strategy and 0-to-1 product development
Mixed-Methods Execution: Conduct primary research using various methodologies, including field studies, 1:1 interviews, diary studies, ethnography, surveys, and usability testing
Data Synthesis: Translate complex user signals into clear, compelling narratives and actionable recommendations
Cross-functional Influence: Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to advocate for user-centric solutions and gain buy-in for research-based decisions
Thought Leadership: Mentor junior researchers and contribute to internal research tools and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
6+ years of experience in an applied research setting (product, academic, or similar)
Proven expertise in diverse research methods (qualitative and quantitative) and a history of impacting product development through research
Preferred
Master's or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field
5+ years of experience conducting UX research on products and working with executive leadership (Director level and above)
Proficiency in programming languages used for data manipulation (Python, R, SQL) or experience with large-scale log analysis
