Chief Financial Officer

NALA Membranes is a startup focused on innovative water treatment solutions, and they are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead their financial operations and strategy. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and executive team to implement financial strategies that support the company's growth and development in the manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

Execute, lead and oversee organizations short-term financial strategy making sure all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, audits, tax, real estate, insurance and cash flow management are aligned with business objectives
Ensure accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting
Assists with day to day operations such as payroll, benefits financial contributions, and budgeting for salaries and new hires
Issue monthly reports on organization's financial stability, liquidity, and growth
Develop and execute organizations long-term financial strategy and budgeting, aligning with business objectives and R&D pipelines
Oversee capital raising, debt financing, investor relations, and grant funding
Evaluates and recommends business partnering opportunities
Establishes and maintains contacts with stockholders, financial institutions, and the investment community
Identify, manage, and mitigate financial risks
Collaborate with R&D, operations, sales, and CEO to optimize cost management, pricing models, and operations efficiencies
Provide financial insights to support key operations and strategic financial decisions

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
10-14 years related experience and/or training; combination of education and experience
Experience in high growth entrepreneurial companies; Bio tech or manufacturing required
Experience in fundraising and venture start up
Fluency in English is required
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
Exhibits confidence in self and others; inspires and motivates others to perform well; effectively influences actions and opinions of others; accepts feedback from others; gives appropriate recognition to others
