Responsibilities
Install, service, and troubleshoot commercial access control systems
Work on a mix of service calls, upgrades, and new installations
Install and troubleshoot door hardware, controllers, readers, and power supplies
Configure and program access control systems and software
Read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and scopes of work
Coordinate with project managers, customers, and other trades
Perform system testing, commissioning, and closeout documentation
Maintain a clean, professional presence on job sites
Qualification
Required
3+ years of hands-on access control experience (commercial environments)
Strong troubleshooting skills
Experience with common access control platforms such as: Lenel / Mercury-based systems, Brivo, Avigilon, HID, Openpath or similar platforms
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Valid driver's license and safe driving record
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred
Experience with security camera systems
Experience with electrified door hardware and locking devices
Manufacturer certifications or willingness to obtain them
Experience working on multi-site or enterprise systems
