Responsibilities
Dream up, design, and improve tools, jigs, and fixtures
Integrate equipment and automation that make our processes better, faster, and safer
Partner with maintenance, operations, and design teams to bring ideas to life
Lead initiatives that reduce waste, cut costs, and boost efficiency—because lean is clean
Create clear documentation so everyone’s on the same page
Own quality improvement projects—from kickoff to high-fives
Lead APQP, PPAP, and control plan development to ensure customer confidence
Dig deep into data, using root cause analysis and SPC to drive quality wins
Create inspection procedures and train others to be quality champions
Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure we’re delivering on our promises
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in manufacturing or quality, mechanical, or industrial engineering (or a similar field) and/or 10+ years' experience in related field
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with ERP systems (Syteline = bonus points!)
Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and analysis tools
A knack for balancing technical skills with people skills—you work well with others and bring energy to the team
A passion for doing things right and making things better
