Assistant Project Manager
Ahern is a family-owned business with over 145 years of experience in mechanical and fire protection contracting. The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Management team by assisting with material takeoff, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and ensuring resource organization for installation efficiency.

Work alongside customers and members at all levels of the organization
Qualification
Required
Post-secondary education ideally in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering
1-3+ years of experience, internship included
Industry experience with mechanical contracting and engineering would be a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
Knowledge of estimating software and AutoCAD is a plus
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Thriving in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to execute tasks with a great amount of detail
