Responsibilities
Serve as the technical liaison between Houston Production and Madison Engineering
Support production processes and ensure test equipment runs properly
Assist in onboarding testing processes for new products and equipment
Provide on-floor technical support to machine operators and supervisors during critical builds
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in production and test systems
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test efficiency and product quality
Coordinate with Engineering on ECOs, process changes, BOMs, and test updates
Track, document, and communicate technical changes and support activities
Communicate technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing
Use multimeters, soldering irons, and basic hand tools for troubleshooting tasks
Read and interpret piping layouts, schematics, blueprints, and component specifications
Qualification
Required
Self-starter with a quality mindset and sense of urgency
Mechanical and electrical aptitude with general troubleshooting experience
Proficient in using multimeter, soldering iron, and basic hand tools
Ability to read piping layouts, blueprints, schematics, and component spec sheets
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn systems
Interest in technology and technical projects outside of work
Knowledge of PCB production processes (silkscreens, reflow ovens, pick-and-place machines)
Electrical/electronic troubleshooting in a production environment
Soldering processes and standards
Familiarity with electrical connectors, crimping tools, pneumatics, and wiring harnesses
Understanding of injection molding for plastics
Ability to use an oscilloscope
Knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks
Familiarity with dairy equipment
