Responsibilities
Complete tax returns under the direction of the Tax Manager or Partner
Quickbooks bookkeeping as needed for tax return preparation
Prepare financial statements and other documents needed for the tax return
Stay up to date with current and impending tax law changes
Tax research as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related business degree
0 – 2 years of experience for associate position
2 to 4+ years of experience for senior position
Quickbooks experience required
Knowledge of all types of Federal tax returns and Texas franchise returns
Experience with preparation and/or review of Forms 1065, 1120S, 1120, 1040, 1041, 990, 990PF
Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
Strong leadership and personnel management skills
Ability to meet strict deadlines
Preferred
CPA certification a plus
CS Ultratax skills desired
