X-ray Tube Test Scientist
CHEManager International is seeking an X-ray Tube Test Scientist to test X-Ray Sources and ensure product quality. The role involves creating and executing testing platforms, troubleshooting equipment, and working closely with various teams throughout the product life cycle.

Test system operation in support of development projects, Manufacturing, Reliability, and continuous improvement efforts, etc
Report generation (MS Office suite, technical calculations, conclusions/results)
Assist in operator training and certification in relation to test systems and practices
Ability to read and understand product specifications. Participate in the generation of the product specifications
Trouble shoot equipment which includes electrical, electronic, mechanical and programing problems
Assist in the setup and creation of test platforms for the development group and other teams
Qualification
Required
Testing of X-Ray Sources to characterize product which improves quality and verify specifications are met both internally and externally
Assist in the creation and execution of testing platforms and procedures for new and existing product lines
Work with Reliability, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and the Development team through all stages of product life cycle
Test system operation in support of development projects, Manufacturing, Reliability, and continuous improvement efforts, etc
Report generation (MS Office suite, technical calculations, conclusions/results)
Assist in operator training and certification in relation to test systems and practices
Ability to read and understand product specifications
Participate in the generation of the product specifications
Trouble shoot equipment which includes electrical, electronic, mechanical and programing problems
Assist in the setup and creation of test platforms for the development group and other teams
Operation of a PC, including MS Office Suite
Troubleshooting of electrical systems
Programing for external hardware
Creative problem solving
Preferred
Bachelors in Physics or Chemistry preferred; Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or similar STEM discipline also to be considered
Experience with statistics and/or data analysis preferred
Experience testing and operating X-Ray Sources and tubes preferred
Experience writing technical reports
Hardware programming/control experience, LabView preferred
Advanced electrical and mechanical tool use (grinders, drills, saws, soldering irons, microscopes, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, fabrication, etc.)
Experience with electromechanical hardware
