Lead HR Business Partner

Responsibilities

Provide guidance on CBA interpretation
Leads collective bargaining preparation and negotiations
Leads employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with policies, CBAs, and employment laws
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver enterprise HR programs
Works closely with leadership and staff to define and execute HR strategies that enable accomplishment of business objectives
Establishes, implements and oversees human resources policies and programs by providing counsel and assistance to employees and management in HR matters
Facilitates organization and leadership development efforts
Works with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources and employee relations issues
Supports talent management and succession planning activity within client organization
Provides change management leadership. Coordinates employee transfers, status changes, new hire onboarding, conducts exit interviews and provides recommendations for corrective action
Assists and/or advises management in the formal discipline or termination of employees
Leads arbitrations, conciliations, and compliance with federal and state labor legislation, etc
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
Requires comprehensive level knowledge of job area
In-depth knowledge of project management
At least 2 years of experience supporting unionized groups
Experience with unionized environments
Ability to influence leaders and manage complex HR issues

Preferred

HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP) a plus
