Part-Time Teller

Responsibilities

Processes customer transactions including deposits, loan payments, checking/savings withdrawals and cashing checks in accordance with bank procedures
Counts and prepares currency, coins, and checks for shipment to the Federal Reserve Bank
Balances personal cash drawer daily
Responds to customer's needs in various ways while cross-selling bank products and services
Assist in opening and closing the branch, following established security procedures
Counting, filling, balancing, auditing, and ordering monies for the cash vault, ATM, and TCD
Answering incoming telephone calls as needed
Comply with all departmental and company policies, procedures and regulations
Maintain customer confidentiality
Maintain regular, punctual, and physical attendance
Complete other specified duties as assigned

Required

High School diploma or equivalent is required
Strong math and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work flexible schedules and Saturdays
Able to learn bank products and services to explain to customers

Preferred

Six months to one year experience in cash handling and customer service preferred
