Responsibilities
Clean, maintain and repair all equipment in a production environment
Understand proper machine set-up and operation
Understand operating procedures and proper handling of hazardous materials
Continually improve equipment to maximize safety and productivity
Responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized work environment
Assist production workers to troubleshoot and setup equipment when necessary
Ability to manage several tasks at once and work well with all co-workers
Attain required qualified training hours per fiscal year
Indirectly and directly responsible for product quality
Manage other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
3+ years of industrial maintenance and repair experience
Working knowledge must include pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and plumbing
Working knowledge of accident prevention practices
Mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
Time management skills
Attentive to detail
General knowledge of safety and accident prevention practices
Positive team attitude
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on occasion
This position requires applicants to be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred
Knowledge of 55-gallon ram pumps and piston fillers a plus
