Education Management
Responsibilities
Providing oversight and leadership for transfer and career/technical education programs
Supervising, developing, evaluating, and continuously improving academic courses and curricula
Recommending the employment of full-time faculty
Guiding the preparation of the semester course schedule
Overseeing institutional compliance and reporting, including Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) Performance Agreements and Higher Learning Commission (HLC) accreditation
Approval and compliance for new academic programs
Assisting with the development of the Colleges annual budget
Supervising academic staff
Qualification
Required
Masters Degree Required
At least three years of teaching experience at a postsecondary institution
Professional experience with distance education and career technical education programs
A minimum of three years of administrative experience
Preferred
Doctorate Degree Preferred
Five years experience working in a community college
