Responsibilities
Support materials and processes for cast/forged aerospace components
Troubleshoot material and manufacturing issues
Collaborate with design, quality, and supply chain teams
Work directly with suppliers and support audits as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in STEM (Materials, Mechanical, Aerospace, Metallurgy preferred)
4+ years of experience in casting and/or forging process engineering
Experience with aluminum, steel, titanium, and nickel alloys
Preferred
Advanced engineering degree
Supplier audit experience (casting/forging)
Familiarity with Nadcap, industry standards, and simulation tools (e.g., DEFORM)
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement
