Responsibilities
Develop test requirements and execute hardware verification and validation plans, including board-level functional testing
Conduct EMC validation and ensure compliance with certification standards (UL, ATEX, IECEx) and Functional Safety requirements (IEC 61508)
Perform programming, analysis, and troubleshooting of electronic hardware prototypes
Contribute to product design documentation and comprehensive test reports
Design and develop automated test scripts to validate product functionality
Document and execute manual and automated test procedures
Generate detailed test reports and support lab audit and improvement initiatives
Assist with the build, configuration, and commissioning of test firmware and hardware platforms
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution
Fundamental programming knowledge in one or more of the following: C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or LabVIEW
Basic understanding of circuit theory and operation, including microprocessors, digital logic, analog systems, DC power conversion, and programmable devices (CPLDs, FPGAs)
Exposure to power electronics or motor systems
Experience with design capture tools and the ability to interpret schematic diagrams
Familiarity with tools such as CAD software, Creo Parametric, ERP systems, 3D modeling tools, SAP, MATLAB, or similar platforms
Experience in industrial automation environments, including PLC or drive programming
Understanding of Agile development methodologies
