Responsibilities
Serve as a senior advisor to the Commissioner and executive leadership; represent the Commissioner in internal agency meetings and external stakeholder engagements
Advise the Commissioner on agency strategy, policy development, and high-priority initiatives
Ensure the Commissioner’s decisions and policies are effectively implemented and executed across agency divisions and senior staff
Supervise and provide overall direction to staff in the Office of the Commissioner, including scheduling, correspondence, and advance coordination
Work closely with the Director of Communications on sensitive and high-profile internal and external matters
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college
4 years of satisfactory experience of nature to qualify for the duties and responsibilities of the position
At least 18 months of which must be in an administrative, managerial, or executive capacity or supervising personnel performing activities related to the duties of the position
A combination of education and/or experience equivalent to the above qualifications
All candidates must have the 18 months of administrative, managerial, executive, consultative or supervisory experience described
