Senior Project Manager, Stormwater

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering stormwater CIP projects, overseeing budgets and schedules, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
Managing and delivering stormwater CIP projects under Pinellas County's Channel Erosion, Flood Control, Stormwater Infrastructure and Surface Water Quality programs, in accordance with approved schedules and budgets
Managing the delivery of 6 to 10 projects at any given time
Development and oversight of project budgets and schedules
Contract administration coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
Reviewing engineering plans, reports, studies, and bid packages and addressing design related issues during construction
Supervision of County staff
Qualification
Required
Managing public works projects (design and construction), to include supervising project management functions, to include three (3) years supervising project management functions; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Degree: Engineering, construction management, project management, public administration or other relevant discipline
12+ years as described above or
Associate's degree and 10+ years' experience as described above or
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years' experience as described above or
Master's degree and 6+ years' experience as described above or
Doctoral degree and 4+ years' experience as described above or
An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Possession and maintenance of a valid State of Florida Driver's License upon hire with eligibility based upon evaluation of a Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) driving report
Must be able to travel to project sites during the development, design and construction phases
Assignment to work a variety of work schedules including compulsory work periods in special, emergency, and/or disaster situations, including evacuation shelter assignments
Preferred
Understanding of CIP planning and budgeting
Experience with bank stabilization, green stormwater infrastructure, and regional stormwater facilities
Experience working with stormwater design teams
Working knowledge of environmental permitting requirements
