Responsibilities
Design, build, and debug electrical systems (PCBs, cabling, sensors)
Develop and document designs for production and firmware teams
Create test plans and refine systems based on real-world feedback
Support production with first articles and QA test assembly design
Manage projects across power, communications, and payload hardware
Balance rapid iteration with reliability, manufacturability, and deadlines
Qualification
Required
5+ years of electrical/electronics design experience
Proficiency with Altium Designer
Experience taking systems from design → 50+ units in production
Comfortable working autonomously and under tight timelines
Strong communicator, with practical documentation and collaboration skills
US Citizenship required
Must be interested in working onsite in San Diego, CA
