Responsibilities
Review, authorize, and process wire transfers in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
Identify unusual activity, compliance concerns, or potential fraud and escalate or resolve issues as appropriate
Serve as a primary point of contact for wire-related questions from Private Banking, branch staff, and internal departments
Act as a knowledge resource for wire procedures, documentation, and operational best practices
Monitor regulatory changes and industry developments affecting wire processing and incorporate updates into daily operations
Update and maintain internal policies, procedures, and workflow documentation related to wire activity
Coach and support team members to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall service quality
Analyze wire system functionality to improve processes and resolve operational issues
Ensure proper documentation, recordkeeping, and reporting
Support additional items processing responsibilities as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong judgment and independent decision-making skills
Clear communication skills
Solid understanding of banking laws and compliance standards
Experience in handling domestic and international wire activity
Ability to review, authorize, and process wire transfers in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
Experience in identifying unusual activity, compliance concerns, or potential fraud
Ability to serve as a primary point of contact for wire-related questions
Knowledge of wire procedures, documentation, and operational best practices
