Operations Support Associate

Best Companies Group is looking for an Operations Support Associate to support their Operations team during a high-volume period. This role involves maintaining trackers, updating information across systems, and handling administrative tasks to allow the team to focus on higher-impact work.

Legal

Responsibilities

Maintain and update operational trackers and task lists to keep timelines, owners, and status accurate
Reconcile information across multiple sources (for example, ensuring dates and details match across systems) and make corrections when inconsistencies are found
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Operations team, completing task-based requests such as organizing information, formatting documents/spreadsheets, and keeping shared files up to date
Support spreadsheet work (e.g., organizing data, applying basic formulas, preparing simple summaries) to assist team members with reporting and coordination
Conduct light research to support internal planning and outreach (e.g., gathering publicly available information, confirming basic details, reviewing historical records when available)
Respond to internal questions about where to find information and help troubleshoot routine process or tool issues (escalating when needed)
Provide additional administrative support to other internal teams as needed during peak periods (workload-dependent)

Required

Strong Excel skills and comfort working with spreadsheets and organized data
Excellent attention to detail and follow-through—able to spot mismatches and keep information consistent
Clear written communication and comfort collaborating with multiple stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize work in a fast-moving environment
Comfort learning new software/tools quickly (task management systems, shared file systems, web-based platforms)
Proactive, service-oriented approach: you like taking work off others' plates and keeping things organized
Reliable home internet connection with minimum 50mbps up/10mbps down

Preferred

Experience working with task management systems (any platform)
Experience supporting an operations, administrative, or coordinator function in a busy environment
Customer/client communication experience (helpful but not required)
