Responsibilities
Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Control access at the reception area by greeting visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate location while maintaining required logs
Support shipping and receiving operations by coordinating visitor and driver check-in and/or check-out, communicating with warehouse contacts, and confirming appointments per site procedures
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting details per post orders
Monitor assigned front desk systems and surroundings, report suspicious activity, and complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required
Qualification
Required
Have at least 1 year of security experience
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
