Responsibilities

The Apigee Developer (Enterprise API Engineering & Operations) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of enterprise API platforms
This role also supports API teams in developing new API proxies and enhancing existing ones through automated CI/CD pipelines

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
7+ years of overall experience, with 6–8+ years of hands-on experience in Enterprise API Management and Integration Platforms (Apigee Hybrid, Apigee X, etc.)
Hands-on cloud engineering experience with Azure, AWS, and/or GCP
Strong experience in cloud architecture, including infrastructure, storage, networking, security, and cost optimization
Proven experience installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining API Management platforms (Apigee Hybrid, Apigee X)
Proficiency in developing and troubleshooting APIs in Apigee
Experience using API testing and performance tools such as Postman and JMeter
Strong understanding of: XML, JSON, SOAP and REST web services, OAuth 2.0, Basic Authentication, JWT, and SSO, XML/JSON transformations, logging policies, KVM, and caching
Solid experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for Apigee
Expertise in Kubernetes for application deployment, scaling, and management
Experience with containerization technologies
Familiarity with source control tools such as GitHub and Bitbucket
Programming/scripting experience with Python, Go, Bash, and/or PowerShell
Strong understanding of Agile principles, with experience working in SCRUM and SAFe frameworks
