As the Accounting Manager, you will guide a team of accounting professionals, drive efficiencies, and ensure the integrity of financial records while collaborating with company partners on financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities
Coordinates workforce planning and career development activities for team members
Holds team accountable for performing all work in accordance with requirements, standards, policies, procedures and processes
Coordinates efforts to ensure adequate financial accounting controls and integrity of our financial records
Collaborates with others establish and maintain accounting policies, standards and processes in compliance with GAAP and accounting regulations
Works with company partners to develop and handle financial analysis and reporting
Leads sophisticated projects
Manages the preparation of GAAP and FERC financial statements
Conducts and presents research on GAAP and FERC technical accounting issues
Collaborates with company partners on rate filings, FERC, and financial statement audits
Ensures adherence to GAAP, FERC and SOX policies
Drives improvement in execution and data automation projects to completion
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted accounting experience
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
Previous experience leading or supervising a team
Extensive financial reporting experience
Strong technical accounting abilities
Preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP and Workiva
